Klaus Wilmes, new President and CEO of Sycor
Dr. Marko Weinrich, President and CEO of the Sycor Group of companies announced that Jim Marczak
has resigned as CEO and member of the Sycor Americas Executive Board effective immediately.
The Sycor group of companies thanks Jim Marczak for his contribution to the success of Sycor
Americas.
The new President and CEO of Sycor Americas as of February 19th 2010 is Klaus
Wilmes-Groebel. Klaus brings ten years of various senior management roles within the Sycor
group to the Sycor Americas organization. He has lived and worked in the US for over five years,
earning his MA from Indiana University, and has been involved with Sycor Americas operations in
Pittsburgh for the past ten years.
Marko Weinrich states, “Klaus is the perfect front man to build our business in the US. His
cultural and management experience in both Germany and America is going to help us tremendously!“
Klaus will move to the Pittsburgh area this summer with his wife and two boys, 8 and 10 years
old. Klaus is looking forward to the move and comments, “Pittsburgh is just the kind of
community I like. It combines a thriving business environment with urban and regional features,
great sports, great music and lots of historic and recreational attractions. My family and I love
the city of Pittsburgh!”
