WEMO-tec implements Sycor.Rental

WEMO-tec GmbH in Eichenzell has decided to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX and Sycor.Rental. The fully integrated ERP solution will cover all processes involved in renting. In addition, the company is building on Sycor.Transportation Management in the future.

(Goettingen) "The software we are using is no longer keeping pace with our growth. In our search for a fully integrated ERP solution which would meet our process requirements as a rental company, we came across Sycor.Rental," WEMO-tec director Joachim Nießner explained. "We were convinced both by the solution and by the SYCOR GmbH team."

And so WEMO-tec, a Werner Group company founded in 1989, is going to implement Sycor.Rental and Sycor.TransportationManagement for 20 users over a project duration of just three months. Sycor.Rental is the fully integrated ERP solution for the rental, trade, service, and maintenance of mobile goods on the basis of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 and covers all company processes around individual and bulk rentals. Sycor.TransportationManagement, also based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, is the optimal, secure, high-performance software to solve transportation problems.

Since WEMO-tec was founded, all areas of the company have gained a strong position and asserted themselves in the market. "With a team of around 140 employees, we are a reliable and competent partner in our business segments," Nießner said. WEMO-tec is active in the areas of scaffolding construction, bridge access technology, and in the renting of elevating work platforms. Currently, a wide range of over 300 models of elevating work platforms are available at three different rental locations. The rental fleet is rounded out with miniature cranes and telescoping and heavy-duty telescoping boom trucks. In the bridge inspection equipment segment, the company has grown beyond the borders of Germany to become Europe's largest rental company for these specialized machines. Subsidiaries currently reside in Italy, Holland, Portugal, Spain, and just recently also in Poland.
